Diablo 4 Season 3 added a ton of new mechanics and activities for players to experience, one big feature was the Gauntlet weekly challenge dungeon. But before the launch of Season 3, Blizzard announced that the Gauntlet was going to be delayed, with it coming 'a few weeks' into the season. So, in this guide, we will tell you about the release date of Diablo 4 Gauntlet and the rewards you can get for it.

Diablo 4 Gauntlet Release Date

The first Gauntlet dungeon will become available in Diablo 4 on March 5, 2023. Blizzard has already announced the server maintenance period, so we can even say the approximate release time of the patch:

EU - Maintenance on Tuesday from 18:00 to 19:00 CEST.
US - Maintenance on Tuesdays from 09:00 to 10:00 PST.

If maintenance goes according to plan, then just a few minutes after the time described above, you will be able to plunge into the new content.

Diablo 4 Gauntlet Rewards

The Gauntlet in Diablo 4 will serve a new and fixed endgame dungeon, which will rotate every week. In addition, one of the Gauntlet requirements is World Tier IV. And this is not surprising since the enemies are level 100 and above in the dungeon. And if you are not strong enough, you will just die in the first few minutes. This dungeon is going to have its own scoring system, as well as leaderboards for each weekly rotation, providing players with a way to compete against each other for the top spots on the ladder.

Aside from being a test of your skills, the Gauntlet also offers rewards for those who prove their Might. After all, nobody wants to clear a difficult dungeon for nothing, right? Proofs of Might is a score that you can earn by killing enemies and opening chests in the Gauntlet dungeon. The higher your Score, the higher the rank you can get, of which, by the way, there are only 4:

    Seal of the Blooded
    Seal of the Steadfast
    Seal of the Iron-Willed
    Seal of the Worthy

These ranks reflect your abilities and directly affect what rewards you will receive:

For each dungeon run, players always receive a minor cache.
At the end of the week, after the weekly reset, you will receive Caches of Trials which are guaranteed to contain Ancestral Legendary.

The better your rank, the better your Cache will be in Diablo 4. For example, upon reaching Seal of the Worth, you are guaranteed to get the Diablo 4 items with level 925 power. Moreover, receiving Caches for higher ranks does not cancel rewards for lower ranks. Thus, with Seal of the Worthy, you will get all available Caches of Trials.

Along with the Gauntlet, the Leaderboard will also be added to Diablo 4. In it, you can compare your results in clearing the dungeon with other players. And if you can stay in the top 100, you will receive the Conqueror's Crest Mount Trophy. If you reach the top 10, your character and name will be permanently added to the Hall of the Ancients.

That is everything you need to know about the Diablo 4 Gauntlet release date and rewards. These week-long dungeons will definitely be an interesting challenge for all players.
